The Great Wall Walking Tour is an onsite tour of The Great Wall of Los Angeles, Judy Baca’s half mile long mural located in the Tujunga Wash.
Participants will meet at the Museum of Latin American Art in Long Beach and will be transported to The Great Wall of Los Angeles via a chartered bus.
*For participants that will be taking their own transportation, please meet the group by 12:30pm at the southernmost point of the Great Wall of Los Angeles. The cross streets are Coldwater Canyon Ave and Burbank Blvd on the East side of the river. The visual starting point of the mural is titled "Pre-Historic California".
The expected itinerary is as follows:
- 10:15 a.m. Participants should arrive at MOLAA to present registrations
- 10:45 a.m. Participants will be aboard the bus
- 11:00 a.m. Bus will depart at around
- 12:30 p.m. Estimated time of arrival to the location
- 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Tour led by Pete Galindo
- 2:15 p.m. Participants should board for the returning trip
- 3:25 p.m. Returning bus should arrive approximately at MOLAA
Times are subject to changed depending on traffic or other factors.
Capacity is limited to 40 people. Please reserve your space as soon as possible. Light refreshments will be available, eating prior to the trip is strongly recommended. Comfortable, walking shoes are also strongly recommended.

Fees cover a space on the bus to and from The Great Wall of Los Angeles, a tour from Pete Galindo, Director of the Great Wall Institute, and light refreshments.
